Fever vs the Mercury, had a very tight game.
Even the coaching staff from the University of Tennessee where present, as they came along with the whole staff who were very eager to back up Catchings. They believe her dedication to the team, and to the city is very astounding.
Having had a not to good first game for the finals, Catchings was able to do a very good follow through for Game two.
Now with Game three, Catchings did a very good last winning shot in the last three point four seconds, winning over the Mercury by a half shot, at eighty six to Mercury’s eighty five points.
Should the Indiana Fever win on Game four, this would be the franchise’s first title win.
Another player of Indiana, Ebony Hoffman, was quite jubilant and proud that they were giving fans’ their money’s worth, because the type of series all the audience and fans out there were watching, is getting last few seconds, last few plays. She also mentioned toughness and grit that are being shown by the players on both sides.
Catchins and Hoffman lead the Indiana Fevers, who are neck on neck in terms of performance and scores against Pondexter and Taurasi.
Taylor was noted to be seen wearing a mouthguard, after January’s elbow forced her out of the game during Game two. For her added quip, Taylor was heard saying that she prefers having her teeth, so to ensure better protection, she will be wearing the mouthguard constantly.
Game three was really a physical game. Taurasi committed a technical foul when he bumped into Douglas, and tying the game leaving five minutes to the game. Catchings hit the technical free throw, which was a sour point for the Mercury, because by then, the game was decided by one point.
For this tense game, Indiana Fever won the game, and would have one more chance at winning the championship title.

In 2002 up to 2004 Donovan already won the Honda Award. In 2007 up to 2008 he again bagged this most coveted award. He is an impressive player and was always a goal-scoring leader for the U.S. team being able to play 41 out of the 118 games. He became the goalkeeper for Los Angeles Galaxy in MLS in 2005.
Howard is also a great player and he was the star player at the Confederations Cup in South Africa. There he earned the Golden Glove award recognizing him to be the best goalkeeper among other goalkeepers in the tournament. However, Brazil went on to win the tournament and the United States comes in second. Since 2002, Howard has already played 46 games with the U.S. national team and now plays for Everton in the English Premier League.
With Altidore, he was the youngest player to make a score for the U.S. when they compete against Mexico in 2008 although the game ended with a 2-2 draw. This year on April 1, he was still the youngest soccer player to record a hat trick when they fought against Trinidad & Tobago for the World Cup. The Americans won 3-0 and Altidore has scored 8 goals. He made 19 appearances for the U.S. national squad and now plays in the English Premier League for Hull City.
